We are looking for a skilled Azure Cloud Architect who can actively contribute a creation of a new solution for one of the biggest world platforms that works with data and product identification. You will be involved in writing a platform for a client from scratch. Instead of 7+ legacy products there will be a new one platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective cloud architectures. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding organizations through cloud adoption, migration, and optimization processes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Azure services, infrastructure as code, and cloud-native application development.
As a core team member, you will have the opportunity to influence the growth of the solution and will be involved in all aspects of the development process.
Requirements:
• 10+ years overall IT experience and 3+ years of relevant Microsoft Azure architecture, design & delivery experience;
• Proven experience as an Azure Cloud Architect or similar role;
• Strong knowledge of Azure services and cloud architecture patterns;
• Well versed with cloud architecture styles and design patterns;
• Experience in developing and deploying Cloud Native Applications;
• Experience in Enterprise Integration Technologies such as Azure API Management, Logic Apps, Service Bus;
• Understanding of cloud security, networking, and compliance;
• Experience with Azure Governance and Best Practices (Role Based Access Control, • Networking Architectures, Cost Management controls, etc.);
• Able to present ideas to both technical and business stakeholders and facilitate strategic discussions;
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines;
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Will be a plus:
• Understanding of setting up Monitoring and diagnostics on Azure for a web application;
• Knowledge of programming and scripting languages such as C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, & Bash etc.;
• It is good to have Microsoft Azure Architecture Certification (e.g., AZ-303, AZ-304, AZ-305).
Responsibilities:
• Design, architect and lead the implementation of Cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure Services;
• Design and implement Azure new cloud architectures based on business requirements;
• Support cloud migration and modernization projects;
• Ensure security, compliance, and governance of cloud environments;
• Optimize cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency;
• Document architectural designs and operational procedures;
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams;
• Stay updated with the latest Azure features and best practices;
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues;
• Advice customers on various Cloud solution options, discuss benefits and risks of each, and recommend a solution that aligns with the customer’s business needs and requirements.
