We are looking for a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer who can actively contribute to creation of a new solution for one of the biggest world platforms that works with data and product identification. As a core team member, you will have the opportunity to influence the growth of the solution.

Required skills:
• Minimum 6+ years as an Azure DevOps, SRE or Platform Engineer with a focus on Azure;
• Strong expertise with the automation of infrastructure, maintaining and supporting cloud infrastructure and monitoring;
• Must have hands on experience and strong knowledge of automation tool sets such as ARM, Terraform, PowerShell, Git, Azure DevOps;
• Strong experience with Azure services and technologies including, such as Azure Networks, Azure Security and Identity, Azure Automation and Log Analytics;
• Azure certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400);
• Experience and knowledge of network technologies including TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, HTTP, DNS, routing, load balancing, etc.;
• Experience in capacity planning and performance tuning in public cloud;
• Knowledge of Cloud best practices, operations, and security;
• Ability to break down complex problems and implement custom solutions;
• An excellent communicator, team player and someone who is intellectually honest;
• Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve goals and to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:• Design, develop, implement and maintain Cloud Platforms and automated solutions and blueprints using Terraform, Azure DevOps across compute, storage, and network domains to accelerate the delivery of business value and optimize developer experience;
• Design, implement and maintain all infrastructure, operational services, security solutions and processes for the GS1 Canada Public cloud environment;
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment, testing, and monitoring of applications and services;
• Document and maintain DevOps policies and standards for operations security, resiliency, agility, and cost optimization;
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and optimization within the DevOps workflow, and implement solutions to drive efficiency and reliability;
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in DevOps, cloud computing, and automation tools;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including, Architecture, Development, IT Operations, Security, and Technical Support teams on approved corporate initiatives and to innovate and implement new solutions that enhance our product offerings and subscriber experience;
• Train, coach, and mentor team members as needed.
